How to Connect Your Wallet

OpenTrade uses your crypto wallet as your identity — no email, no password required. This guide covers how to connect on both desktop and mobile using the most popular wallets.

MetaMask

MetaMask is the most widely used Ethereum wallet. It works as a browser extension on desktop and as a standalone app on mobile.

Desktop (Browser Extension)

  1. Install the MetaMask extension from metamask.io/download for Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge.
  2. Create a new wallet or import an existing one using your seed phrase.
  3. Visit opentool.top and click Connect Wallet.
  4. Select MetaMask from the wallet list.
  5. A MetaMask popup will appear — click Connect to approve.
  6. Your wallet address will appear in the top-right corner. You are now connected.

Mobile

  1. Download the MetaMask app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the app and set up or import your wallet.
  3. Tap the menu icon and select Browser.
  4. Navigate to opentool.top inside the MetaMask browser.
  5. Tap Connect Wallet and select MetaMask — it will connect automatically since you are already inside the app.

Trust Wallet

Trust Wallet is a popular mobile wallet that supports hundreds of blockchains. It has a built-in dApp browser for connecting to web3 sites.

Recommended Method — Use the Built-in Browser

  1. Download Trust Wallet from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open Trust Wallet and create or import your wallet.
  3. Tap the Browser icon at the bottom of the app (globe icon).
  4. Type opentool.top in the address bar and press Go.
  5. Tap Connect Wallet on the site and select Trust Wallet.
  6. Approve the connection request in the Trust Wallet popup.

From a Regular Mobile Browser (Safari / Chrome)

  1. Visit opentool.top in Safari or Chrome on your phone.
  2. Tap Connect Wallet and select Trust Wallet.
  3. The site will open a deep link that launches the Trust Wallet app and loads the site inside its browser.
  4. Approve the connection request when prompted.
  5. Trust Wallet will redirect you back to the site, now connected.
Tip: Tip: If the deep link does not open Trust Wallet automatically, open Trust Wallet manually, go to its built-in Browser tab, and navigate to opentool.top from there. This is the most reliable method.

Coinbase Wallet

Coinbase Wallet is a self-custody wallet separate from the Coinbase exchange. It supports EVM chains and has a built-in dApp browser.

  1. Download Coinbase Wallet from coinbase.com/wallet or the App Store / Google Play.
  2. Set up your wallet and back up your recovery phrase.
  3. On mobile: open the built-in browser inside Coinbase Wallet and navigate to opentool.top.
  4. On desktop: install the Coinbase Wallet browser extension.
  5. Tap or click Connect Wallet and select Coinbase Wallet.
  6. Approve the connection in the Coinbase Wallet popup.

Phantom

Phantom supports both Solana and Ethereum. It works as a browser extension on desktop and as a mobile app.

  1. Install Phantom from phantom.app or the App Store / Google Play.
  2. Create or import your wallet.
  3. Visit opentool.top and click Connect Wallet.
  4. Select Phantom from the list.
  5. Approve the connection in the Phantom popup.

Troubleshooting

The Connect button does nothing
Make sure your wallet extension is installed and unlocked. Try refreshing the page. If using mobile, open the site inside your wallet app's built-in browser instead.
Trust Wallet deep link does not open the app
Make sure Trust Wallet is installed. If it still does not open, go to Trust Wallet manually, tap the Browser tab, and type opentool.top in the address bar.
I see "No accounts returned"
Your wallet may be locked. Open your wallet app or extension, unlock it, then try connecting again.
I see "Wallet popup is already open"
Check your wallet extension or app — there is already a pending connection request waiting for your approval.
Wrong network or chain shown
OpenTrade accepts wallets on any EVM-compatible chain. Your wallet address is what matters — the chain does not affect your ability to connect.
I connected but my dashboard shows nothing
Make sure you are using the same wallet address you used to make your deposit. If you have multiple wallets, connect the correct one.
I disconnected and cannot reconnect
Refresh the page and try connecting again. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache or try a different browser.
